These are not the voices that get invited to conferences on the future of Europe. They are the voices from the street — collected in Neukölln, scratched directly into the canvas without brush, without distance.

No Future was shown as part of a four-day youth conference in Berlin, organized around the question of what young Europeans want. Lindur's answer came from a different room entirely. Not from participants in voluntary European programs, but from young people who have no particular relationship to politics — and say so, loudly and without apology.

The work does not interpret these voices. It holds them exactly as they are: raw, contradictory, and more honest about the state of Europe than most official discourse manages to be.

Das sind nicht die Stimmen die zu Konferenzen über die Zukunft Europas eingeladen werden. Es sind Stimmen von der Straße — gesammelt in Neukölln, ohne Pinsel, ohne Distanz direkt in die Leinwand gekratzt.

No Future wurde im Rahmen einer viertägigen Jugendkonferenz in Berlin gezeigt, die um die Frage organisiert war, was junge Europäer wollen. Lindurs Antwort kam aus einem anderen Raum. Nicht von Teilnehmern europäischer Freiwilligenprogramme, sondern von jungen Menschen die keine besondere Beziehung zur Politik haben — und das laut und ohne Entschuldigung sagen.

Die Arbeit interpretiert diese Stimmen nicht. Sie hält sie genau so fest wie sie sind: roh, widersprüchlich, und ehrlicher über den Zustand Europas als es der offizielle Diskurs meist schafft.
